Okey Okechukwu, DDS, MAAIP, FAAIP

Dr. Okey Okechukwu is from Minneapolis, Minnesota where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He earned his dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry where he attended various Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery externships while pursuing his degree. As a clinician, Dr. Okechukwu is constantly learning and has attended numerous continuing education courses to further his craft. He has invested time away from practice in advanced surgical training courses with a focus on oral implantology and facial bone grafting techniques in Mexico and Nicaragua and has obtained mastership and fellowship credentials with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.

Dr. Okechukwu loves taking a comprehensive approach in treating his patients and was recently appointed to be an associate faculty for the Live Implant Training Program in Nicaragua where he will be training fellow doctors on the surgical principles of implant placement.

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. “O”, as he is fondly called by his patients, enjoys physical fitness and exploring local cuisine. He is also involved in various community outreach programs across the world.
